WINNIPEG - According to Johanu Botha from Manitoba's Vaccine Task Force, the province is on track to beat vaccination targets set for Terry Fox Day and Labour Day.
So far, 73 per cent of residents 12 and older have received one dose of a COVID-19 vaccine, while 42 per cent are fully vaccinated.
Botha says we are near top spot in the country for vaccination rates after a record on Monday of 35,000 doses administered.
In other good news, COVID numbers continue to drop.
That combined with hitting vaccination goals could mean a further loosening of restrictions, maybe even earlier than expected.
