Trudeau Talks To Mayor

WINNIPEG - Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and the mayor of Dauphin spoke by phone on Tuesday about the deadly bus crash that claimed 15 lives near Carberry.

The PM and David Bosiak discussed the tight-knit nature of Prairie communities and how they come together in times of loss.

Trudeau thanked Bosiak for his leadership and compassion during this difficult time.

A minibus was carrying a group of seniors from Dauphin and area to a casino last Thursday, when it went into the path of a semi-trailer on the Trans-Canada Highway at Highway 5.
