WINNIPEG - RCMP are investigating a deadly highway crash on Friday afternoon that killed a teen and hurt others.
The Mounties say four girls were driving North in a car on Highway 23 near Mariapolis when they hit a patch of ice and slid into an oncoming SUV.
A 16 year old who was in the passenger seat was declared dead at the scene, while the 18 year old driver was airlifted to Winnipeg with serious injuries.
The other two passengers, 12 and 13 years older, and the 69 year old driver of the other vehicle were also hurt and taken to hospital.
