Still No Power At Manitoba First Nations

No Power At First Nations

WINNIPEG - Manitoba Hydro is saying it might be another four to six weeks before two Manitoba First Nations get their power restored and people can return to their homes.

Residents of Pauingassi and Little Grand Rapids First Nations have been staying in Winnipeg hotels since July when wildfires destroyed power lines servicing the two communities.

Hydro did an assessment on the long weekend and determined almost 90 power poles need to be replaced.
