WINNIPEG - Manitoba's auditor general says the governing Conservatives have spent hundreds of millions of dollars without using proper procedures.
Tyson Shtykalo says six departments spent a total of $264 million without using purchase orders.
He says because of that and other errors, he will put all government departments under the microscope next year to determine the scope of the problem.
The opposition NDP blames budget cuts and an 18 per cent reduction in the public service since the Tories took over in 2016.
