Some Evacuees Return Home

WINNIPEG - According to the Canadian Red Cross, wildfire evacuees from an Indigenous community in northeastern Manitoba are starting to go home.

Over 100 people from Red Sucker Lake flew back from Brandon yesterday and about that many are leaving Winnipeg today.

The Red Cross says those evacuated from four other First Nations are still in hotels in Winniupeg and Brandon with no timeline for their return.
