Martin Launches Campaign

WINNIPEG - Shannon Martin will launch his campaign today to lead the Manitoba PC party.

The Tory MLA for McPhillips will officially enter the race to replace Brian Pallister in Oak Bluff at noon.

He's one of three people so far to file the proper paperwork and pay the $25,000 entry fee.

Martin is up against former health minister Heather Stefanson and former MP and Winnipeg cop Shelly Glover.

The deadline run is Wednesday and then the winner will be chosen October 30th by mail-in ballot.
