Saskatchewan Helping Out

Saskatchewan Helping Out

WINNIPEG - With almost two dozen Manitoba COVID-19 patients being treated in Ontario ICU's, Saskatchewan is expected to start helping us out later today.

That province has set an upper limit of five on the number of Manitobans it's able to accept at this point.

Officials say the patients will likely go to hospitals outside of Regina and Saskatoon.

COVID has pushed our health care system, especially intensive care units, beyond its limits.
