WINNIPEG - Current COVID-19 restrictions are set to expire at the end of this week but it's unlikely they will change much, if at all.
Manitoba's deputy chief public health officer, Dr. Jazz Atwal, says while some of the COVID numbers are easing, any adjustments to rules around the virus will only be minor, at best.
He says it's possible demand for intensive care beds might rise even more before eventually levelling off.
Currently, social gatherings between households aren't allowed, except for people who live alone. And stores are limited to 10 percent capacity.
