Restrictions Tighten Yet Again

WINNIPEG - Another round of COVID-19 restrictions will take effect Saturday morning through Tuesday.

The new rules ban all gatherings between members of different households, even outdoors.

Also, only one member of a home is allowed in a store at the same time.

Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba's top doctor, says his main message is just stay home for now.

Premier Brian Pallister says these are the darkest days of the pandemic.

There were 603 new cases of COVID in the province on Thursday, a new record.

And the health care system is beyond its limits with ICU patients being transferred to Thunder Bay.
