Rainfall Warnings End, Flooding Continues

Rainfall Ends, Now Flooding

WINNIPEG - Rainfall warnings have ended for southern Manitoba, although snowfall warnings continue for more northern areas like Gillam and Norway House.

Winnipeg has received about 45 millimetres of rain since it started falling Friday night.

A number of communities south of the city have evacuated homes because of flooding.

They include Carman, Morden, Ritchot and Montcalm.

Highway 75 remains closed at Morris but a detour is allowing traffic to go around the town without much delay.
