WINNIPEG - The province is proposing a three hour paid leave so workers can get their COVID-19 vaccine.
Finance minister Scott Fielding says Manitoba is at a critical point in the fight against this virus and the Pallister government wants to encourage everyone to get vaccinated as soon as they are eligible.
He says the paid vaccine leave compliments the recently announced paid sick leave program which reimburses eligible employers as much as $600 per worker for five days off.
