WINNIPEG - Ottawa has confirmed it will be sending the COVID-19 help Manitoba has asked for.
The federal government says it will provide medical staff through the Canadian Red Cross and the military.
The feds are also ready to send epidemiologists and lab techs and testing supplies.
A federal minister tweeted on the weekend that Manitoba's request for contact tracers had been approved.
There's no word on when the assistance might start arriving.
