WINNIPEG - The province has made some changes to its regular COVID-19 updates, including no numbers on weekends.
This is part of a new schedule that's expected to continue through the end of August.
However, this plan is subject to change as real-time information about cases and vaccination rates emerges, or if a fourth wave of COVID happens.
Dr. Brent Roussin, Manitoba's chief public health officer, says this development comes as more Manitobans get vaccinated and we move closer to becoming a post-pandemic province.
Because Monday is Terry Fox Day, a holiday, the next update on the virus will come on Tuesday.
