No Deaths, 111 Cases

WINNIPEG - The province is reporting no deaths today from COVID-19.

There are 111 new cases of the virus, including 31 in Winnipeg and 71 in the north.

There are 13 new cases of the UK variant today and one of the South African variant. That brings the total number of variants of concern in Manitoba to 55.

989 cases are active, 30,997 people have recovered, for a total of 32,903 cases so far.

151 Manitobans are in hospital right now, 22 of them in the ICU.

The five day test positivity rate in the province is 5.2 per cent. Winnipeg's rate is 3.7. 1,515 tests were done in the last 24 hours for a total of 552,738 since the pandemic began.

The death toll now sits at 917.
