WINNIPEG - The hospital in Steinbach is getting three new operating rooms.
The Manitoba government has announced nearly $30 million for Bethesda Regional Health Centre.
The province says the funding will increase surgical capacity throughout the region.
In addition to the ORs, there will also be a pre-operative consult room, 12 patient care treatment spots and a reception and waiting area.
Health Minister Audrey Gordon says this brings the total capital investment at the facility to $64 million, making it one of the largest construction projects in the city's history.
