WINNIPEG - Manitoba Health Minister Audrey Gordon says two new CT scanners are coming to the Selkirk Regional Health Centre in an effort to reduce patient wait times.
She says one scanner will be new to the facility, while the other will replace aging equipment.
Gordon says more than $15 million in funding is going toward this initiative which will double the number of CT scans performed in Selkirk.
That means 34,000 CT scans could be done each year, up from the current 17,000.
