WINNIPEG - Manitobans will soon be able to roll up their sleeves for a shot of the Pfizer bivalent COVID-19 vaccine.
The province expects to distribute the new vaccine to most injection sites by October 24th and is expanding the eligibility for bivalent boosters to anyone 12 years and older.
Health Canada approved the Pfizer bivalent vaccine earlier this month and the Moderna bivalent is already available.
Both were developed to provide protection against two strains of COVID, the original and Omicron.
