WINNIPEG - The province has released new COVID-19 modelling that shows things will get worse before they get better.
Deputy chief public health officer, Dr. Jazz Atwal, says the numbers are rising because some people are failing to follow the rules.
The COVID projections show cases rising for at least another week, possibly to over 600 cases a day, and ICU numbers are expected to stay high for about a month before dropping off.
Dr. Atwal says despite tightening restrictions, too many Manitobans are still gathering and interacting.
