New COVID-19 Restrictions In Effect In Manitoba

New Restrictions In Effect

WINNIPEG - New restrictions are now in effect in Manitoba as COVID-19 numbers climb and the Omicron variant looms.

The tougher measures restrict private indoor gatherings of vaccinated people to the members of a household plus 10 other people.

If someone is unvaccinated, the limit is the household plus five.

Dr. Brent Roussin, the province's chief public health officer, says Manitobans can still gather for the holidays, they just need to do it in a safer way.
