WINNIPEG - The NDP thinks Manitoba students should get some money to help families pay for remote learning.
Leader Wab Kinew says a one-time payment of $750 per child could be used to buy a new laptop or improve internet access.
It's part of a five part plan by the New Democrats to ease the burden of remote learning and safely return kids to their classrooms next week.
The plan also calls for more COVID-19 rapid tests and masks and improvements to schools including better ventilation systems.
