WINNIPEG - Manitoba NDP Leader Wab Kinew says his party will show the full cost of its platform during next October's election campaign. He also promises to outline a path to balancing the budget.
Kinew made the comments at the end of the New Democrats’ annual convention in Winnipeg on the weekend.
As well, he promised to improve health care and keep energy rates low if he becomes premier.
The province has been running deficits since 2009, except for a small surplus the year before the COVID-19 pandemic began.
