WINNIPEG - Another weather system could bring significant precipitation to southern Manitoba by Friday.
The province's Hydrologic Forecast Centre says 20 to 50 millimetres of rain is possible.
Floodwaters have started to recede but many areas still look more like a large lake than farmland.
Flooding has also damaged roads and other infrastructure including bridges north and south Mafeking in the RM of Mountain.
The community's 130 residents can not leave by vehicle now and anyone needing medical care has to be flown out by helicopter.
