More Manitobans Eligible For 3rd Dose

More Eligible For 3rd Dose

WINNIPEG - More people in Manitoba can now get a third dose of a COVID-19 vaccine.

All health care workers who have direct contact with patients are eligible to get a booster shot.

The province is also allowing another jab in the arm for Manitobans who only received one of the viral vaccines like AstraZeneca.

Dr. Joss Reimer of the Vaccine Task Force says the third dose of an mRNA vaccine from Pfizer and Moderna should be given at least six months after the second.
