WINNIPEG - A wildfire in Nopiming Provicial Park has forced the evacuation of the Davidson Lake cottage subdivision.
The cottagers were told to be out of the area by yesterday because of the Kenora 051 fire in Ontario.
The fire which began July 8th is out of control and over 1,800 square kilometers in size.
The fire risk remains extreme in southern Manitoba.
17 new blazes popped up in this province over the past two days, for a total of 154 now burning.
