More Domestic Violence Supports

WINNIPEG – Manitoba has announced additional supports domestic violence victims.

Justice minister Cliff Cullen says the province’s domestic violence support program has been expanded to give more help to victims when their former partners are involved in restorative justice proceedings.

There will also be a new online workshop starting this month on healthy relationships. The workshop will look at the impacts of trauma, how to stay safe and self-care.

This announcement comes as part of Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
