WINNIPEG - Most health care workers who went on leave when Manitoba brought in COVID-19 mandates are returning to their positions now that restrictions are lifting.
Shared Health says about 13 per cent of frontline employees on administrative leave have said they will not be coming back.
More than 100 staff, most of them in the Southern Health Region, went on unpaid leave after the province issued a public health order last October requiring health care workers to be vaccinated or tested on a regular basis.
