WINNIPEG - The backlog of surgical and diagnostic procedures in the province continues to grow quickly.
An online dashboard by Doctors Manitoba says the backlog has topped 153,000 which is an increase of over 1,200 since last month.
Omicron is adding to the backlog faster than expected, even though a task force has been established to deal with the issue.
Doctors Manitoba says there's been a slight improvement with surgeries but other procedures are lagging.
