WINNIPEG - Manitoba singer-songwriter William Prince is getting ready to play the legendary Grand Ole Opry in Nashville this weekend.
Prince, who is a folk-country performer from the Peguis First Nation, says it will be great to walk on that stage and sing songs he wrote here in this province.
The Juno Award winner will perform on Saturday where the likes of Johnny Cash, Willie Nelson and Dolly Parton have all performed before him.
He plans to sing songs from his latest album Stand in the Joy, including When You Miss Someone.
