MB Spinal Surgeries In ND

WINNIPEG - Five people from Manitoba will be going to North Dakota for spinal surgeries.

It's part of the province's plan to reduce the surgical backlog made worse by the COVID-19 pandemic.

The patients will be treated at Sanford Health in Fargo where a few hundred more Manitobans could get treatment.

Doctors Manitoba estimates the provincial backlog of surgeries and procedures at over 160,000.
