Manitoba Repeals Wage Freeze

WINNIPEG - The Manitoba government is promising to repeal its wage-freeze bill for public sector workers.

Finance minister Scott Fielding says he wants to start fresh and take a different approach.

This is another example of a more collaborative approach under the leadership of premier Heather Stefanson.

The bill which passed in the legislature in 2017 was never proclaimed into law.
