WINNIPEG - Manitoba has reached another significant vaccination milestone.
75 percent of people in the province are now fully protected against COVID-19 and have two shots of the vaccines.
Over 80 per cent have received at least one shot of a COVID vaccine.
There are still pockets of Manitoba where vaccine uptake is low, all of them in the south.
The RM of Stanley is the lowest at just 22 percent.
Altona, the RM of Hanover and the RM of North Norfolk are all just below 50 percent.
The RMs of Roland and Thompson are slightly above 50 percent.
75% of eligible Manitobans have now receivedboth doses
of a #COVID19Vaccine! A huge thank you to everyone who got vaccinated, and to our dedicated staff and volunteers at our vaccine clinics. It is because of all of you that we have hit this milestone! #ProtectMB pic.twitter.com/evyO1nwYV5
