Rate Hike For Natural Gas

WINNIPEG - After dropping over 14 per cent in February, natural gas rates are on the rise in Manitoba.

The Public Utilities Board says the typical residential customer will see an increase of 20.5 per cent on May 1st.

Over the course of a year, that works out to about $150.

Energy prices have spiked since Russia invaded Ukraine in late February.
