WINNIPEG - Workers at Manitoba Public Insurance will stay on strike after rejecting the crown corporation's latest contract offer.
The Manitoba Government and General Employees' Union did not release the results of yesterday's vote but said the offer was overwhelmingly rejected.
The walkout began in late August under the former Progressive Conservative government.
The new offer from management came after the NDP was elected and revamped MPI's board.
