WINNIPEG - A Roman Catholic priest is accused of sexually assaulting an eight year old girl in a church at a Manitoba First Nation.
RCMP were called on Saturday to Little Grand Rapids for a report of a girl being touched inappropriately when she was alone with a priest.
The Mounties say he tried to keep her from leaving the church before she was able to flee to her home.
Arul Savari has been charged with sexual assault and sexual exploitation.
Officers have identified more young people as potential victims.
