Manitoba Premier Frustrated By Health Workers

Health Staff Frustrates Premier

WINNIPEG - Kelvin Goertzen is frustrated with health care workers who are picking unpaid leave over vaccination and testing for COVID-19.

Manitoba's premier says the testing option is not being offered in some other provinces.

Shared Health says 178 employees have chosen leave and more than half of them are in the Southern Health Region.

Staff from other programs are being redeployed to personal care homes in Winkler and Altona.
