WINNIPEG - A new opinion poll shows the race ahead of the upcoming provincial election has tightened slightly.
The survey, by Probe Research, has 44 per cent of decided respondents saying they would vote for the NDP, compared to 38 per cent for the governing Progressive Conservatives.
The six point gap is smaller than the 11 point difference in the last Probe poll in December.
The survey of 1,000 Manitobans was conducted after the budget was tabled this month and is considered accurate to within 3.1 percentage points either way.
