Manitoba Outdoor Gatherings Get Smaller

Outdoor Gatherings Smaller

WINNIPEG - Outdoor gatherings in Manitoba must be smaller as of today.

The maximum number of people allowed at an outdoor gathering has dropped from 1,500 to 500.

Also starting today, visitors to food courts, museums and galleries are required to show proof of vaccination.

These new measures were announced last week as the province braces for a fourth wave of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Already in place before today, a mask mandate for indoor public places.
