WINNIPEG - People are invited to a memorial service in Winnipeg today for fallen police and peace officers.
The annual ceremony is hosted by the Manitoba Association of Chiefs of Police.
It's being held this morning at 11 a.m. at the Canadian Museum for Human Rights.
There's also a national event in Ottawa which can be viewed here.
The last Sunday of September has been recognized for many years as a day to remember police and peace officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty.
