Rescued From Flooded Car

WINNIPEG - RCMP are reporting a close call where a driver had to be rescued from his vehicle.

The 21 year old man drove around a road barricade in a flood zone just north of St. Adolphe.

He called the Mounties when water started flowing into his car and levels reached the steering wheel, preventing him from opening the door.

Officers and fire crews responded and firefighters got the man to safety.

The driver was issued a $237 ticket for not abiding by the barricade.
