WINNIPEG - Manitoba Public Insurance and police across the province are working together to reduce collisions at intersections.
Under the joint enforcement program, Winnipeg Police, Brandon Police and Manitoba RCMP will monitor some of the worst crossroads for crashes.
Each year, there are 30,000 crashes at intersections.
The worst intersection of all of them is Kenaston and McGillivray Boulevards which recorded 1,200 mishaps between 2017 and 2020.
Of the 10 most dangerous intersections in Winnipeg, seven of them involve Kenaston or Bishop Grandin Boulevard.
