WINNIPEG - A nursing shortage has forced the Boundary Trails Hospital to close 25 percent of its beds.
10 of the hospital's 40 beds are being closed temporarily simply because there aren't enough nurses.
Many other Manitoba hospitals are also dealing with a nursing vacancy.
Boundary Trails Hospital serves about 50,000 people between Winkler and Morden including the RM of Stanley which has very low COVID-19 vaccine uptake when compared to the rest of the province.
