Manitoba Goes NDP

WINNIPEG - With the Manitoba New Democrats set to form a majority government, the leaders of the Progressive Conservatives and Liberals are stepping down.

Heather Stefanson held on to her Winnipeg constituency of Tuxedo but announced last night she would be resigning as party leader.

The Liberals' Dougald Lamont lost his seat in St. Boniface and also resigned as leader.
