The province says floodwaters have created dangerous conditions and pose a significant risk to public safety.

Many highways in the area are flooded, making travel treacherous.

Manitoba Parks has ordered an evacuation of the Betula Lake area.

Residents of Betula Lake should be ready to leave their homes if water levels rise quickly.
