WINNIPEG - Police say no charges were laid after conflicting protests at the legislature in Winnipeg on the weekend. However, officers remain in the area and communication continues with organizers.
Meanwhile, at the US border in Emerson, a blockade is allowing emergency vehicles and livestock to go through. RCMP say other motorists should avoid the area or expect significant delays.
Demonstrations continue here and across the country even though COVID-19 rules are being eased and lifted. Manitoba has announced a plan to remove all restrictions over the next month.
