Manitoba Conservatives Set Date For New Leader

Date Set For New Leader

WINNIPEG - Manitoba Progressive Conservatives will choose a new leader on October 30th.

The party's executive met last night to pick the date and determine rules, including a $25,000 entry fee.

Premier Brian Pallister announced earlier this month he won't seek re-election.

When asked by reporters yesterday, he said he's prepared to make way for the new premier within a few weeks.
