Manitoba Care Homes Ask For Help

Care Homes Ask For Help

WINNIPEG - Family members with loved ones at two personal care homes in the Southern Health Region have been told they may have to help out starting this week.

Salem Home and Tabor Home say contingency planning continues in part because some staff at the homes are not fully vaccinated yet.

The facilities are already short of workers and now this.

Manitoba health minister Audrey Gordon says she's not sure exactly how many health care workers in the province are vaccine hesitant but the number is small.
