Manitoba Bison Award Winners Announced

WINNIPEG, MB - This has been a great year for The Manitoba Bisons varsity teams with seven of eight teams in fall and winter sports qualifying for the post-season. One Bison of those Bison teams won a national championship for the first time while another team hosted and placed in a national championship plus also hosted a Canada West conference championship.

There were amazing individual accolades plus major U SPORTS and conference award winners along with international recognition during the 2017 - 2018 season.

The Manitoba Bisons handed out their year end awards at the annual Brown and Gold Banquet held at the Manitoba Room, University of Manitoba, on Saturday, March 24th.

Dr. Mike McKay – Team physician for Bison men’s hockey holds a clinic at the Athletic Therapy Centre to service all Bison athletes over the years
