The province is providing special one-time funding for Manitoba municipalities to do road repairs that have been made worse by the long winter and wet spring.
$15 million dollars will be split among 137 communities with Winnipeg getting $9 million of it.
According to Manitoba Public Insurance, there have been over 300 pothole claims this year. There are normally about 50.
