Lundar RCMP Seize Cash and Drugs

Lundar RCMP clocked a vehicle going 132 km/h in a 100 km/h zone and came up with a bonus.

On September 20, 2018 RCMP were conducting routine speed enforcement and when they stopped a speeding vehicle they could smell marihuana inside the car. When they asked the driver about the smell he showed them a burnt marijuana joint.

A further search produced a large amount of cash sealed in a plastic bag and over 2000 grams of vacuum sealed marihuana.

54-year-old Anthony Ross of The Pas was charged with possession for the purpose of trafficking under the Controlled Drugs and Substances Act as well as for speeding and driving while disqualified under the Highway Traffic Act.
